Hello Friends and Supporters,
Delfeayo Marsalis has invited the newly formed HSRA (High School for Recording Arts) Jazz Combo to perform a couple of songs during his “Tribute to Louis Armstrong” performance this Thursday, April 17th at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30PM.
Chantel and Shelby (vocals), Corey (piano), Versie (drums), Jamal (bass) and Bishop and Lost Causz (hype men), along with their Walker West colleagues are honored to be on the same stage and program as the great Mr. Marsalis and the all star group he has assembled to give tribute to the great jazz legend, Louis Armstrong. Prior to the performance, preeminent jazz historian Phil Schaap, curator of Jazz at Lincoln Center, will conduct a lecture and Q & A.
Please join us on this special evening. We hope to see all of our friends and supporters at this event.
