Semester Ends • A New Presidency Begins • No School Friday, January 23

Students and staff are mixing Language Arts, Social Studies, Civics and Public Service as HSRA commemorates the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States, Barack Obama; celebrates Martin Luther King Day; prepares for February, Black History Month. The academic approach to all this has been through our Daily Language Arts classes which have been reading Dreams From My Father and preparing a special radio broadcast for The Fo-Show airing this Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 8:30AM on B96 (96.1 FM). HSRA, Governor Pawlenty, and Minnesota Chamber of Commerce

January 7, 2009 brings the New Year in with Malika, Chantel, Ariana, Quartney and Dominic joined the Governor and Minnesota Chamber of Commerce for a Legislative Reception and Dinner. They performed Family and the National Anthem for over 1,500 people. Way to go HSRA!
