Some HSRA students and staff attended Randy Jensen’s housewarming party in Brooklyn Park Thursday night, October 23. Randy and his friends may be the most generous people in Minnesota. After some great food and outstanding student performances, Randy and party raised $9,000 for HSRA. Whoo Hoo go Randy, LubeTech and friends. Amazing Grace.

Students attended a speech by Michelle Obama, Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama’s wife, on the campus of Macalester College in St. Paul on Monday, October 13. For election news, music and commentary, tune into The Fo Sho on B96 radio every Sunday morning. The students’ reaction to Monday… “Get out and vote!”

Saturday night, friends, family, and HSRA staff and students helped Susan Campion celebrate her birthday at Intermedia Arts. The Fo Band and Chantel provided the entertainment while T Ant spun the tunes. It was a great celebration with Susan asking for donations to the school instead of gifts or cards.
